Post Graduate Diploma In Management: Hospital Management (PGDM:HM)
Eligibility
• Institute follows a policy of merit based admission. SAIM&S will seek application from all graduates with a recognized bachelor’s degree in any of the following:
- Doctors with M.B.B.S. or B.D.S. degrees
- Graduates with Veterinary (B.V.Sc & A.H., Ayurveda (B.A.M.S.), Homeopathy (B.H.M.S.) or Pharmacy (B. Pharm) degrees
- Nursing (B.Sc.) and Allied Health Graduates (B.P.T. & B.O.T.)
- Engineering Graduates from Bio-medical or Biotechnology branch (B.E. /B. Tech)
- Under-graduate business degree in Hospital Administration/ Healthcare Management (B.B.A.)
Admission Procedure
Students appearing in their final year of graduation exam may also apply subject to their securing minimum passing marks. The admission in PGDM(HM) would be through written test followed by group discussion and personal interview. SAGMAT (Sri Aurobindo Institute General Management Aptitude Test) would conduct its own written test. The Institute will also use scores of CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, GMAT and MET scores for those who have not taken SAGMAT for short listing the candidates, for process of short listing the candidates. After short listing, group discussion and personal interview (GD & PI) will be conducted by the institute. The final admission will be based on the summative score of SAGMAT/ other exam, Group Discussion & Personal Interview. The admission procedure will incorporate weightage for duration and quality of prior work experience.

Summer training is an integral part of the programme. The students will be placed for a six -eight week internship in various hospitals, healthcare organizations etc. for hands-on training. They will be assessed on the basis of their performance during this period.
20 shortlisted students from the batch will be offered internship in SAIMS Hospital, Indore with a stipend of Rs 5000 per month. After the successful completion of internship, 5 students out of these 20 will be provided with a stipend of Rs 5000 for the entire year. These 5 students will be selected on the basis of their performance in their internship and academic result.
